There’s something so sweet about creating with simple shapes, and this egg-shaped Spring heirloom journal might be my favorite seasonal project yet.

Today I’m sharing a free printable egg template that you can use to create your own darling little Spring journal. It’s perfect for tucking into an Easter basket, filling with spring memories, or simply enjoying on a quiet afternoon with paper scraps and glue.

All you need to do is print the template, trace it onto your favorite papers (vintage florals are especially lovely), cut your pages, and bind them however you like — staple down the center, stitch with embroidery thread, or add ribbon for a soft finishing touch. Layer in pockets, tiny tags, pressed flowers, or little notes. There’s no wrong way to make it your own.
