September Mood Board

September 1, 2020 ~ ginamakesit ~ Leave a comment

Much to my chagrin, September has arrived. And wouldn't you know, on today, this first day of September, it was cold, rainy, and depressing. You would think after oh, lets' say a "handful" of Septembers, I'd accept it or move to a warmer climate. 😆 🤷🏼 Good news, though, I updated my Mood Board. In … Continue reading September Mood Board

Junk Journal With Me: Episode 2

Last week, I finished the second episode in my latest Junk Journal With Me series on YouTube. Oh, June—you’re just so sweet. 🌸
This first Sunday in June, I spent some time in the garden, tidied the house, caught up in my journal and went exploring on my bike. It was the picture perfect end of spring kind of day when the sun is warm, the breeze is cool and all seems right in the world, at least for the moment.
It’s a little chilly tonight and lighting a candle seemed appropriately cozy.
Today was a beautiful day.
New digital kit added to the shop tonight — Spring Sampler —complete with a floral stuffed Victorian boot. ☺️☺️
Mother’s Day is a wonderful time to use all of the pastels in my studio, including all of the avocado-dyed paper I have stashed away. Have you made any? It creates such a a beautiful rosy color.
