Capture the Feelings of the Season

December 15, 2021March 6, 2023 ~ ginamakesit ~ 1 Comment

There’s a little less than 2 weeks before Christmas and I recently found a few fun (and vintage of course!) holiday-themed audio books to help capture the feelings of the season. If you are searching for a book chock full of traditional winter cheer, here are a few suggestions to put you perfectly in the … Continue reading Capture the Feelings of the Season

I’ve been helping my mom through some tough times these past few weeks, so I haven’t had much energy to work in my journal, but I know it’s waiting for me when I’m ready. 💕
In today’s YouTube video, I am making Collage Masterboard Pen Pal Happy Mail. It’s a lot easier to make than say! Link in profile or my stories!
I love you today as I have from the start. And I’ll love you forever with all of my heart.
I am retiring a bunch of listings in my Etsy store to make room for new listings. The listings impacted are currently on sale through March 20 and will be removed shortly thereafter. In the interim, I am having so much fun working on the new listings. I actually use them in projects, so if something isn’t working for me, then I know it’s definitely not user-friendly and I go back and tweak it. It’s like a form of creative engineering. Monday rolled around fast and furious, but I was able to squeeze in another 5-minute journaling session today using some old die cut experiments and embroidered scraps.
I often find myself with days that only offer 5 or 10 minutes of creativity. It’s just the way life is in this modern world. They’re not my favorite days, but they definitely do happen. In the past, when I only had a few chunks of time in my craft room, I used to feel so pressured under the time crunch that I would just sit trying to decide what to do until I literally ran out of time. Recently, I began using these small time intervals to experiment with dies or stencils or a new technique I saw online. Ironically, I was left with a pile of experimental “stuff” that could easily be incorporated into a super short journaling session on days when I’m pressed for time. Today was one of those days and I bring you along in a 5-Minute Journaling session in my latest YouTube video—> YouTube.com/GinaMakesit
