I also have to feed both my vintage and modern papercraft needs, so I recently made two (really, three) types of journals.
I created a vintage journal with a curved spine (using a paper towel roll of all things!). The inserts incorporate old atlases, worn book pages, and some vintage linen printables (currently in my shop).
They are breathtaking — and completely fill any vintage void . When my mom and I stumbled upon them last year at an estate sale, we knew instantly how lucky we were.
At the same time, I just created two little mini-books using some Dear Lizzy paper. One mini-book is documenting what Netflix shows I am currently watching and the other will be used for all of my summer reads.
The bonus part is that not only am I am satisfying my bold and bright paper addiction, I am also using some of my stash up at the same time!
If interested, I have this mini-book tutorial up on my YouTube channel so you can use your paper scraps up too!
Now all I have to do is find some time to work on all these beautiful projects! Let me know below in the comments — does this seem like a strategy you might use or have used? Does it work for you?
Till next time,
